For as long as I’ve known this picture, it just captures me somehow. There’s just something about it. Maybe it’s breathtaking, cause that looks like what the sailor did here. He must’ve taken her breath away. Lovely :)

Trust…
There are many times in life where I’ve felt like I’ve had to take care of myself. Trusting anyone didn’t seem like an option, but now I’m finding that I can trust God. Not that I didn’t know that before, but I only knew it in my head. I am starting to learn it with my heart. I’m seeing God work things out that I could’ve never worked out this good all by myself. I’m not saying that I’ve got this trusting thing all worked out and together, but I’m learning. It may be a lifelong process to remember that I can trust God, but now I’m seeing that I can. Just letting go of the things that are out of my hands and letting Him take care of it all is so freeing. I wish I would’ve realized this before, but I guess timing means so much and this must be the time where He really wants me to know that I can trust Him and He really wants me to see that He loves me—and just how much He loves me. He desires to give His children good things and I am His child. Matthew 7:11 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”

I know that He can set me free when I stop holding on and let go. When I finally lift up both arms and fall forward.
